Have you completed 1000 Books Before Kindergarten? Are you ready for a new challenge? If so, we encourage you to sign up for 500 Books Before Middle School, an ongoing, self-paced literacy challenge where participants are challenged to read 500 books before they enter middle school.
Children in Kindergarten-Grade 5 can participate by reading books independently or by being read to. Log your books in Beanstack and for every 50 books you read, earn a book and a patch. That’s all there is to it! Read, log and earn!
Once you’ve signed up in Beanstack, stop into the Children’s Department to pick up your welcome kit.
